Who we are
Ragnarok Networks is a YouTube channel (@RagnarokNetworks, https://www.youtube.com/@RagnarokNetworks). Ragnarok Networks is a Ragnarok Ventures company. This policy covers the website ragnaroknetworks.com and our internal app, Ragnarok Analytics.
This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers. It does not ask visitors to sign in, and it has no forms. A visit to this site does not connect a visitor's Google account.
Ragnarok Analytics
Ragnarok Analytics is an internal app. It uses Google OAuth with only the read-only scopes below, and only to read our own channel's YouTube Analytics and YouTube data for internal performance reporting. The Google account that authorizes the app is an account that manages the Ragnarok Networks channel. In this policy, "you" means a channel manager who authorized the app. Visitors to this website are not asked to sign in with Google.
Ragnarok Analytics uses YouTube API Services. By using Ragnarok Analytics, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
We request only these scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly— read-only YouTube Analytics reports for our own channel.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly— read-only YouTube data for our own channel.
These scopes do not let the app upload, edit, delete, comment, or otherwise change the channel, and they do not grant access to anyone else's Google account. We do not request any other Google scopes.
What data is accessed
With those scopes, Ragnarok Analytics can read:
- YouTube Analytics reports for our own channel, including views, watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, geography, devices, subscriber changes, and other metrics YouTube includes in those reports. Some figures are aggregated statistics about the audience of our videos, as YouTube provides them to the channel.
- YouTube data for our own channel, including channel details and video details such as titles, descriptions, publish dates, and statistics (view counts, likes, and comment counts).
We do not use these scopes to read viewers' private Google account data. The app stores the OAuth token Google issues for this access, so it can keep reading those reports.
How we use it
We use the data only to understand how our own videos are performing and to prepare internal performance reports. It is not used for advertising. We do not use it to contact viewers or to build advertising profiles.
Storage and sharing
OAuth tokens and downloaded reports are stored on the operator's own computer and our private, access-controlled systems; nowhere else. The data is never sold. It is never shared with third parties.
Who can read it
Only the Ragnarok Networks staff who manage the channel view the reports. Nobody else reads the data except where needed for security, abuse investigation, or legal compliance.
Retention and deletion
We keep the OAuth tokens and the reports we download only while we need them for internal performance reporting. We delete them when we no longer need them for that purpose, when we stop running Ragnarok Analytics, or when you ask us to delete them.

Revoking access
You can revoke Ragnarok Analytics at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops the app from reading any further data from Google. When access is revoked, or when a channel manager requests deletion, we delete stored data obtained through the API within 7 days.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Ragnarok Analytics' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. The current policy is the one at https://ragnaroknetworks.com/privacy.
